Red Rose 2010
Yesterday,
the Scouts and Explorers returned from a fun filled week at
Great Tower Scout Camp Site. The boys undertook an
international camp where they met Scouts and Guides from all
over the world and participated in a variety of activities
from fly fishing to tree climbing. A number of our leaders
attended the camp as part of the staff team and ran
backwoods cooking, mountain biking and the media aspect of
the camp. Some friends we made are Swedish Scout Leaders,
Daniel and Johan (as pictured with Ben). Please

Subscriptions
The subscriptions for the summer term are now due for all sections. The cost is £35. Please make all cheques payable to '6th Penwortham Scout Group' and hand them or any cash to the relevant leader.
St. Georges Day Parade
This years St. Georges Day Parade will be held on Sunday, 25th April. We are assembling on the grass opposite St. Mary's Church, Broadfield Drive, Leyland at 12.45pm. There will be a short church service followed by a march to Worden Park. The event is due to finish around 2.30-3.00pm and we ask parents to collect their children from the park. Full uniform is required.
